24th Annual Best Friends Gourmet Bike Tour
Starting at St. Mary Central High School at 7:00 amSince it's inception, the Best Friends Gourmet Bike Tour has become a favorite of many, from the beginner to the accomplished cyclist. The event is not a race, but rather a tour that can be ridden at your own pace. The Best Friends Gourmet Bike Tor is a road ride through the beautiful countryside of the north and west Fox Cities. Riders may choose from 4, 8, 12, 25, 55, or 73 mile market routes. The 4 to 12 mile routes are designed for families with younger children - they will be using the CB Trail and Trestle Bridge with rest stops on both ends of the route.
The mapped tour will have mechanical assistance, sag wagons and all distances have rest stops with Gatorade, water, home backed goods, and fresh fruit. Upon completion of the tour, cyclists will enojoy a gourmet picnic featuring fresh bakers, homemade soups, calzones, sub sandwiches, wraps, and beverages.

Bike to Work Week
Activities include:Sunday - May 16 Bike to Worship Bike to church then out to brunch.
Monday - May 17 Trail Day Take a ride on any of the local trails. We have quite a few in the area to choose from. Maps are available at HERE
Tuesday - May 18 B-BOP Day Think Green. Bike, bus or pool (B-BOP) to work today.
Wednesday - May 19 Bike with a Buddy Use your bike to go visit with a friend or neighbor. Riding with friends is always fun.
Thursday - May 20 Bike to School/Bike Your Child to School Remember riding to school when you were a kid? Why not help your kids to develop their own memories by helping them Bike to School. For those schools in the "Safe Routes to School Program" see if you can get your school to have the highest turnout.
Friday - May 21 Bike to Work Day Save the gas and enjoy the commute. Free showers are available at the YMCA's around the Fox Cities. Need help getting started? Check out the information available through the Fox Cities Greenways.
Saturday - May 22nd Family Day Go for a ride with the family. Take in a movie, go for picnic or use your bike to do something else special with your family.For more information visit Fox Cities Greenways
