Not That Hard to Find Time for Fitness
U.S. government guidelines say that to lose weight and keep it off,
you should accumulate at least 60 minutes of exercise a day. But half
an hour a day is all you need to reap the health and disease-fighting
benefits of exercise.

As part of our commitment
to share information about local events focused on physical activity
and promoting healthy lifestyles, we encourage you to submit an event
that meets all of the following criteria:
Guidelines:
1. Activate Fox Cities accepts events that support at least one of its
four goals: increasing physical activity, reducing smoking, improving
nutrition or promoting policy that supports healthy lifestyles.
2. Events
must take place within the service area of the Fox Cities YMCAs.
3. Activate Fox Cities will not promote events that are for personal
gain on the part of the event sponsor.
4. Activate Fox Cities reserves the right to determine whether an event
is appropriate for its listing. Listings will take several days to appear
on the web site following submission.
