International Service Rotary Foundation Committees
Ambassadorial Scholarship Committee Terry Bergen and Rich Redman, Co-Chairs
This committee promotes Rotary International's Ambassadorial Scholarship program, reviews applicants and selects a candidate to represent our club in District competition. Should our candidate win the scholarship, a committee representative will become his or her local liaison/counselor for the year abroad.
Group Study Exchange Committee Jay Drzewiecki, Chair
Bi-annually our club joins with District 6220 in establishing a Group Study Exchange whereby non-Rotarian professional, business people are provided with the opportunity to study for six weeks in a foreign country. The group member's stay in Rotarian homes in the host country. The following year District 6220 invites Rotarians from a foreign country to study for six weeks in communities forming our district territory. Rotarians have an opportunity for world fellowship by offering to host study group members in their homes for up to a week during the exchange.
Rotary International Foundation Committee Dave Rothmann, Chair
This committee was formed to devise and carry out programs to increase awareness and educate our club members about the work of the RI Foundation by placing articles in the weekly Gusto, frequently presenting announcements at weekly meetings, and scheduling our club's observance of The Rotary Foundation Month (November).
Sharing Around (the World) Medical Project (SAMP) Carol Busey / Ron Altenburg / Shane Lathrop, Co-Chairs
The purpose of this committee is to distribute recycled medical supplies and equipment to third world countries.

World Service Committee Mary Harp- Jirschele, Chair
The committee was formed to initiate, investigate, plan, coordinate and implement new and existing opportunities for our club's international service activities. By helping our club serve on an international basis, we will promote peace and goodwill among all people.
