Dear Carol,

We are in the process of unpacking the 16 large boxes that we obtained from the most recent container. Today was one of the five Saturday mornings that our Home Based Care staff give out clothing and food to the 2700 orphans that live in our area (over 500 orphans per Saturday!). Many of the clothes that were in this shipment and in the previous one are being given out, and I have included some pictures of the orphans receiving the clothes.

I talked with Greg Pozzo, president of Harare Dawn Rotary Club, and thanked him for all the help they have been giving us with these containers. He told me that he would very much like to have two containers per year; one that would be primarily for us (although they would still distribute about 40% on the contents), and then another one that they would be totally responsible for, including the cost of clearing (currently costing about +/- US $300. I am sure that if there was just one or two or three "personalized" boxes for us here at St. Theresa's, we would be able to get them also. So, however you are able to help, everyone here is very enthusiastic and very interested in seeing that these shipments continue. I know that it seems like it takes forever for it to finally get to us, but we have received everything that has been in each container, and have not had to pay ANY duty on it.

Once again, thanks to ALL that are involved in these shipments.

God Bless, Dick Stoughton
