Annual Meeting

The annual meeting will be held.before October's concert at the Mount Morris Town Hall. Council members will be elected during the meeting. A Council member is responsible for being active on one of the Council committees. Our committees need to grow because most are committees of one person. How would you like to help? Let the Council know. Council members presently are responsible for Hospitality, Newsletter, Facilities, Bookings, Treasurer, Secretary/Publicity, and Fund-Raising. The Council meets on the last Wednesday of most months. To become more active in the Black Hawk Folk Society, please consider running for a Council position.

Fund-raising

We have T-shirts, Sweatshirts, mugs and songbooks. Look for these new items from the Black Hawk Boutique. Items are sold at each concert. For more information or to get a custom color or size of T-shirt or Sweatshirt, call Judy at 608-586-4317. Thanks to all those who help out at the concerts and the festival sales table.

The Town Hall is located north of the millpond on Highway 152. The Town Park is on County G in Mount Morris.
