Contests:
Fox Valley Writers' Club currently holds one annual writing contest. Specifics can be found in the Contest Criticalities section to the right. The designation "TBD" indicates these details are yet To Be Determined for this year's contest.
Shirley Lee Writing Contest
The club has an annual writing contest open only to club members. Unnamed for over 15 years, in 2002 it was officially designated as the Shirley Lee Writing Contest in memory of a club member who died that year. Each year the theme is selected by voting on suggestions made by members. Submissions are judged by an outside writing expert with experience in the selected topic or genre. Winners are typically announced at the club's annual picnic held at the June meeting. >
