What's new?
Relive the magic...
Whether you were at the FVLC program, "E-Books: What you need to know!" on Friday, December 4, or just wish you had been, you can view Linda's handouts about the Weyenberg Library's experiences with circulating Kindles, Eric's Powerpoint about the Sony Readers, and Mary's handout, "eReaders from Publisher's Perspective." Linda also wanted us to know about a place we can get that "library smell" you've heard so much about....
In other news...
FVLC supports the Campaign for Wisconsin Libraries!

Check out the excellent FVLC online directory! In addition to being a great way to contact other FVLCites, you can edit your own directory information online. Please take a few minutes to update your information as soon as possible.
According to ALA, a challenge is "an attempt to remove or restrict materials, based upon the objections of a person or group." To report a challenge and/or request assistance from FVLC with a challenge to materials at your library, please complete this online form.
The Fox Valley Library Council, Inc. (FVLC) was established in 1977 by the libraries of the Fox Valley. As a nonprofit corporation, the Council brings together the collections and professional expertise of school, public, academic and special libraries.
The Council plans programs and services which allow sharing of materials and information with all residents of east central Wisconsin. The council also cooperates with other regional library councils throughout Wisconsin.
