FVLC General Meeting Minutes
December 5, 2003

Rick Krumwiede, President, called the meeting to order at 10:20. Introductions were made of all guests for the benefit of each other and the speakers.

The Board of FVLC was introduced.

Rick explained that the objectives of the Board have been met this year. He encouraged everyone to visit the website. He announced that in January, FVLC will be sending out an on-line survey of the membership.

Pete Gilbert gave the Treasurer's Report. The annual budget is accessible on the website. Checking account at M & I has $9000; Money Market at M & I has $2200; Local Government Investment Pool through Winnefox has $6500. Updates are on the website.

Rick mentioned :

• Continuing education scholarships (details on website)
• Membership invoices have been sent out
• List serve-you can subscribe with Pete

There are two remaining educational programs this fiscal year. Rick announced them.

Rick also encourgaged participation in Library Legislative Day slated for February 3, 2004.

The business meeting was followed by a program, "Why Do We Need Wisconsin Public Radio?", a tour of the EAA Library, and a catered lunch.
