FVLC General Meeting Minutes
December 10, 2004

Neenah Public Library

After a well-attended and well-received program entitled Blogging @ Your Library: Finding, Reading & Creating Library Blogs, given by Bonnie Shucha of the UW-Madison Law Library, the meeting was called to order at 11:55 a.m. by our President, Joy Schwarz.

Executive Board members in attendance introduced themselves. Absent Board members were noted by President Schwarz.

Treasurer Pete Gilbert gave his report: "We're doing fine". He indicated that detailed reports are available at the FVLC Web site: http://www.focol.org/fvlc/.

Evan Bend mentioned that checks for dues are beginning to come in, and Joy Schwarz noted that Education Grants received extra funding this year.

Announcements by President Joy Schwarz:

Terra Mobley, elected Vice-President/President-Elect in May, resigned due to a move to Pennsylvania. Erin Czech agreed to assume that position on the Board.

All are encouraged to visit the online FVLC Directory, check it out, and update it if necessary.
