- Approval of minutes from the May 1, 2009 general meeting
The board was requested to approve May 1, 2009 general meeting minutes at http://www.focol.org/fvlc/minutes/gen20090501.html via e.mail on 12.15.2009. Approval was granted .
- Treasurer's Report
Pete talked about his report which was through October 31, 2009. For 2010, OWLS and Winnefox will cover dues of member libraries. This will give FVLC the funding it needs AND eliminate busy work. Fox Cities Book Festival is an event that the group will support annually. Member libraries outside of OWLS and Winnefox will be charged $25 which is down from $35 in the past. Also, recall, the benevolence of NO DUES in 2009.
- Education Board
Today's program was arranged by the Education Board. Thank you. Also, the Education Board has arranged a program with author Chris Crutcher in Appleton on April 12, 2010 coinciding with the Fox Cities Book Festival. This is a BIG DEAL! Great job!
- Directors-At-Large
Karen Probst mentioned that scholarships for programs are available from FVLC. They are in the amount of $500. Check out the FVLC website for more information.

Relive the magic...
Whether you were at the FVLC program, "E-Books: What you need to know!" on Friday, December 4, or just wish you had been, you can view Linda's handouts about the Weyenberg Library's experiences with circulating Kindles, Eric's Powerpoint about the Sony Readers, and Mary's handout, "eReaders from Publisher's Perspective." Linda also wanted us to know about a place we can get that "library smell" you've heard so much about....
