Volunteer to Help Fox Cities Greenways Today!

2008 promises to be a very important year for Fox Cities Greenways. We will have more activities than ever before that highlight or support trails and greenways in the greater Fox Cities region. Therefore, more than ever before, we need our members and friends to be involved!

We need people who are willing to plan and carry through an event and also those who can contribute a few hours at a particular activity. Here are short descriptions of 2008 events.

Volksmarch – people are needed to help organize a local version of this walking event, in August or November, celebrating greenways and trails in the Fox Cities. A volksmarch is a non-competitive 6 mile (10 kilometer) walk. These walks are open to the public to come and enjoy.

Board of Directors – Please let us know if you are interested in serving on the Board. We would like to have a broad regional cross section and peoplewith a variety of interests. Currently we need people from the Heart of theValley area and those who use trails for purposes other than walking/jogging.
