Vision Statement…

Harmony Café values all people and helps to lead the creation of a better community where:

The arts & culture are accessible and vital;

All people realize their unique gifts and leadership potential;

Ideas are exchanged freely and people learn, grow and are challenged;

The Check it at the Door Declaration inspires us all to create safe spaces here and throughout our community.

 What we did in 2007…

CELEBRATING ARTS & CULTURE:

  Free, eclectic, all-ages live music every week in genres ranging from jazz to electronica, Celtic to country, hip hop to punk.  Musicians came from Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, Maryland, New York, California, and all over Wisconsin and donated their time and talents.

  Bi-monthly art shows ranging from elementary students to professionals, including exhibits to raise awareness and funding for Kenyan children with AIDS and national and international adoption.

    Monthly poetry readings and also an 80 person poetry slam with a local middle school.

The only all-ages, all-talents weekly open mic in the Fox Valley, averaging over 50 people each week.

Multiple book clubs.

A variety of all-ages celebrations, benefit fundraisers, carnivals and holiday parties.
