JUSTICE Coalition
Program Details
The purpose of the Justice Coalition is to
bring together organizations and leaders
in the Fox Valley
who are working on a diverse array of JUSTICE issues to:
•Increase
networking and collaboration between JUSTICE organizations, and
•Provide
"cross-education" about a variety of inter-related JUSTICE
issues.
We include people working from a variety of JUSTICE perspectives
such as social justice,
environmental justice,
economic justice, political justice, educational justice and
religious justice.
The JUSTICE Coalition is non-partisan
and welcomes differing perspectives, ideas, beliefs and
approaches among its members.
General format of the JUSTICE Coalition meetings:
•45
minutes dedicated to roundtable introductions, brief
organizational
announcements, sharing of brochures/fliers, etc.
•30
minutes reserved for an featured presentation on a particular
group or topic of interest
•15
minutes saved for open networking.
The JUSTICE Coalition first met in April 2005 and meeting
attendance has included
representatives of over 40 different organizations.
