Program Details
The purpose of the
Youth Worker Coalition Interagency meetings is to provide
professionals
working with youth (ages 6-25) with monthly opportunities for
resource sharing, networking,
problem solving and professional development.
General format of the meetings are:
• 45-60 minutes of interagency announcements, resource sharing &
problem solving in a roundtable format
• 15-30 minutes for a special, in-depth presentation by one
person, agency or group
• 15 minutes of open networking time
The Youth Worker Coalition first met in February, 2004 and
meetings have included
over 140 different professionals from over 40 different local
non-profits, schools, for-profit youth
serving organizations and governmental organizations. For a list

The Youth Worker Coalition also provides an annual conference in
April each year with a wide
variety of presentations and seminars on issues relevant to
youth work.
