INTRODUCING OUR NEW DAISY BRIDGE PROGRAM!

Daisy Leaders, are you looking for a special way to mark your Daisy troops momentous day when they bridge into Brownies?

The "Daisy Bridge to Brownie" is our newest program!

This new program includes a private tour of Hearthstone Historic House Museum, a special Try-It activity: creating two "secret pal” real pearl necklaces, one to give and one to keep! *see Caring and Sharing item #1 Try-it badge, snack, hands-on activity in the lower level, and a sweet surprise for each scout before they leave!

We only offer this program on Saturday mornings by appointment, we have a 10 Scout minimum and 27 Scout maximum. Cost is $8.00 per Scout, $4.00 per chaperone, leader is free of charge.

A non-refundable deposit of $25.00 is required to secure your chosen date. The balance is due the day of your visit. When we receive your deposit a confirmation letter will be sent to your leader. We are very excited to offer our Scouts this brand new program. Find out for yourselves why scout leaders and scout families from all over Wisconsin, and northern Michigan enjoy holding their badge sessions at Hearthstone!

If you would like more information, or have questions about our other Scout offerings at Hearthstone, please call during normal business hours 920-730-8204 or email hearthvolunteer@att.net.

BADGE WORKSHOPS FOR JUNIORS AND BROWNIES!

A warm welcome awaits your troop when you reserve a complete badge class at Hearthstone Historic House Museum. We currently offer 10 Juniors Badges and 9 Brownies Try-It workshops. Our badge program is unique because ALL the materials, instructions, and professional teaching staff your badge requires are included in the cost! Your scout troop can also decide if they would like to work on their badge with or without a tour of the museum. All of the badges we offer have Hearthstone Historic House as the focal point on one or more of the steps you need to complete, therefore we strongly recommend a short tour of the museum.

Participation

Hearthstone Historic House Museum requires a 10 participant minimum and a 20 participant maximum for our badge workshops. We recommend a 1:5 adult helper to scout ratio to help keep the girls on track with our time and projects at hand. We ask that you reserve at least 2 hours for the Brownies workshop and 2.5 hours for Junior scouts, these times include a brief tour. Being prompt is VERY important. We ask your troop to arrive at least 15 minutes early to ensure time for facility breaks. Food and beverages are not permitted in Hearthstone. We kindly ask your leaders to accommodate your snack needs before or after your visit to Hearthstone. Weather permitting you may use our porches to enjoy your snacks outdoors, as long as you clean up after yourself.

Scheduling a Badge Workshop

If you would like more information, or have questions about our other Scout offerings at Hearthstone, please call during normal business hours 920-730-8204 or email hearthvolunteer@att.net.
