We propose to broaden the focus on all young children to be healthy, happy and successful achievers. (An interagency Coordinating Council with broad representation from the Fox Communities.)

The Healthy Infant and Child Alliance is committed to assuring well being in pregnancy, infancy, chldhood and family life.

Who We Are

We, the members of Healthy Infant and Child Alliance for the Fox Communities bring together service agencies, parents and others who are interested in the health, education, care, and well-being of young children.

What We Stand For

• Early childhood should be recognized as a crucial developmental period.
• To improve and create awareness of quality child care, early childhood, education, health, care and related serivces should be the shared responsibility of families, school and community.
• All families and young children should have equal opportunity to participate in programs and services.

What We Do

• The Alliance advocates for young children and thier families for increased community awareness of quality child care, education health and related services.
• The Alliance is available to coordinate efforts in the community to assist in program planning, presentation, and to serve as a force in the Fox Communities for young children.
• The Alliance facilitates interagency collaboration.
