The Northern Pulp Company was organized by John Stoveken and Colonel Henry Frambach.
The company has purchased a Mill site and water power privileges at Quinnesec
Falls, on the Menominee river (Now known as Niagara, Wisconsin) The company is building a
four grinder mill. The water wheel cases are being made by the Appleton Machine
Company. The grinders will be made by the Atlas Iron and Brass works of Kaukauna
(Note: The Atlas Iron and Brass Works of Kaukauna was also owned by Henry Frambach and
this business was later moved to Duluth, Wisconsin)
