The Grist mill would be on the Konkapot Creek and the Whitney Mill/store is located on the river approximately 1 Mile SW of Kaukauna. You can use the 1889 map to help locate where the different buildings would have been located in modern day Kaukauna. |

This is a view of Kaukauna about 1874 (Printed in a book dated 1881) The
building next to the bridge on the Canal is the Eagle Paper and Flour Mill.
The walls of this building are still seen in modern Kaukauna as part of the
Thilmany Paper Mill.

This is a view of the Lock and Canal in Kaukauna about 1874. The buildings
on the right are the Eagle Paper and Flour mill followed by the Hub and Spoke
company and the Saw mill.
