Exit Hwy 41 at 9th Street and turn East. Turn north onto the frontage road (Koeller Ave. - East side ot Hwy 41). At the traffic circle go east (right) onto Witzel Ave. At Campbell Ave., turn left. The Senior Center Annex is about 1/4 mile down on your right.

Meeting Activities

• Business meeting: A short business meeting is conducted to address the operation of the guild.
• Presentation: Each month a special presentation is made. Sometimes this is local, state, and national quilters who are leaders in the field. Othertimes it is a presentation of one of our many accomplished quild members.
• Treats: Each meeting we take a break and help ourselves to the many treats brought in by members whose birthdays fall in that month.
• Show and Share: Each month members bring projects they have completed to share with the whole group.
• Name Tag Drawing: Each meeting two names are drawn. If those individuals are wearing their name tag they win a $5.00 gift certificate to Quilt Essentials (donated by Quilt Essentials).
• Quarter Chance Drawing: Several prizes are given out at the end of each meeting. Attendees can purchase chances for $.25 each.

Guests

Guests are always welcome at the Lakeside Quilters' Guild meetings. Guests may attend two meetings before becoming a member. Membership dues are $25 paid annually in August.

Guests will be charged $5 when attending any meeting that has a guest speaker (effective August 1, 2009).
