    The Brown Bag Book Club is a closed book discussion group for gay men only. Our group has been in existence since 1990. We have a few rules: each book must be in paperback and must be recommended by someone in the group who has actually read the book, and not having read the book is no excuse for not attending the discussion. Members can can still contribute from their experiences about topics raised and by asking pertinent questions.

    Formed in 1989 to create easier access for members to gay-themed video tapes, to encourage contacts between viewers of such tapes, and to provide information on new releases available for purchase or rental. With limited resources in southern Wisconsin for access to gay-themed tapes, the Club provides current information on the best places to buy and rent both locally and by mail.

    Meetings on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month at 8 p.m. give members an opportunity to socialize and share information in a party-like atmosphere. A Resource Materials Table displays catalogs, brochures, frequently updated listings of titles available for local rental, and reviews of new releases. Refreshments and snacks (including a buffet) are provided. $5 donation requested per meeting.
