We, as members of the Fox Valley Peace Coalition, strive to
work both within our coalition and in network with other
organizations to promote peace and social-economic justice
in our homes, community, nation, and world. We seek to
promote the use of peaceful means to reach the goal of a
just, caring, and peaceful global society. We use the tools
of education, advocacy, and witness to achieve these goals.

Specifically, we organize to:
Educate ourselves and others to reclaim and exercise all
civil liberties granted to us through the U.S.
Constitution and laws of our democracy.
Encourage healthy dialogue about peace and justice
Work for increased voter registration and fair, inclusive
Reclaim our tax dollars for the social welfare of all
citizens, ensuring public education, environmental
protection, and affordable health care for all.
Oppose military intervention as the primary tool of
foreign policy and reject pre-emptive aggressions against
other countries or cultures.
Promote foreign and domestic policies based on the
peaceful resolution of disputes, respecting national
sovereignty, international law, and the Universal
Declaration of Human Rights.
Encourage acceptance of cultural diversity within our
society and throughout the world.
Foster the building and maintenance of relationships
between the U.S. and other countries which support world
peace and global social-economic justice.
