Education Committee's Mission:
To provide the adult and student communities of Northeastern Wisconsin with supportive education and resources in an effort to raise awareness, understanding and acceptance of GLBTQ people. The Education Committee is comprised of Northeast Wisconsin educators, youth advocates and community members interested in creating a stronger educational environment for GLBTQ people. The committee offers support for Gay-Straight Alliances in local schools and is currently pursuing three goals: - Identify speakers for GLBT topics for schools and organizations in Northeastern Wisconsin
- Update and maintain the Positive Voice library
- Pursue grants to provide educational opportunities for the GLBT and Straight youth of Green Bay. (book talks, film viewings with discussion and educational presentations)
