Why Join & Support Positive Voice? Your Positive Voice membership will build gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community in Northeast Wisconsin. Your contribution will support: - a monthly newsletter, with GLBT calendar and event information
- a Web site with links to local GLBT resources
- a monthly meeting on GLBT topics
- social events, such as movie nights, the Holiday Dinner and the New Year's Eve party
- the annual Day of Self Discovery, a high-visibility event bringing local and national leaders together in Northeast Wisconsin.
- We are
developing an educational scholarship fund for GLBT students of all ages.

Highlights from past Day of Self Discovery’s have featured former Eagle Scout and Supreme Court plaintiff James Dale, drawing newspaper and TV coverage to GLBT issues in Green Bay and Appleton, panel discussions with local print authors and TV newscasters, and interviews with governmental representatives such as Brown County Executive Nancy Nussbaum and openly-gay State Representative (now State Senator) Tim Carpenter and State Representative, Mark Pocan, and State Representative, Tammy Baldwin.
