Octoberfest in downtown Appleton is September 30th and PFLAG, Positive Voice, and Angels of Hope MCC will be selling our famous frozen chocolate covered cheesecake
on a stick. Whether your working or just eating your way down the mile of food vendors, you’ll have a ball at Octoberfest! Each food merchant represents a local non-profit organization. So this is a great way to support the organizations you like and that benefit you!
You can also help out at the event by working a short shift, helping setup or tear down. Contact Bob at rgulig@new.rr.com to find out
how you can help! Even if you can't help, make sure you stop by to say hello (and buy some delicious cheesecake)!! WE NEED YOU to HELP END DISCRIMINATION! Join PV and Fair WI members in canvassing neighborhoods in both Appleton and Green Bay. We will start with a thorough training on
how to talk with people at the doors, tips on what to do when canvassing, and background on the campaign. Each canvasser will go out with a partner and using a list of voters, will go door-to-door to gauge the voters' level of support. Individuals from Green Bay will meet at PV’s office at 502 Greene Avenue in Allouez. Individuals from Appleton will meet at the Harmony Café. Canvassing is a great way to educate people about
this hurtful amendment and encourage them to vote no. Details on canvassing dates and times are posted on the Fair Wisconsin website. For more information, contact Mitch Wallace at Green Bay number 920-265-4977 or via email at mitch.wallace@fairwisconsin.com. Let's all take time to work together to ensure Wisconsin VOTES
