Upcoming Positive Voice  & Community Events

2014positive_voice_halloween_party

Sep 15  7-8L30pm  Appleton Library presents to the Fox Cities LGBT community Plans of Future Library Services. Library Director Colleen Rortvedt will give a presentation for the Fox Valley LGBT groups (LGBT Partnership, Spectrum, PFLAG, INCLUDE) about plans for the new Appleton public library and the future of libraries in general.  Colleen typically does a 30 minute presentation and takes questions/comments afterwards. Colleen is very excited to present to the LGBT community because she recognizes that for many members of the LGBT community, libraries are one of the first places many people turn to as a confidential place to find information and find materials with characters they identify with.
