Welcome to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church of Appleton Wisconsin
serving the community since 1960. We may be small in size but we have an
abundance of love and respect for each other.
Our Vision at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church is to
manifest in the Fox Valley
area the Body of Christ, the fellowship of all Orthodox Christians believers,
by learning and living the teachings of Jesus Christ and His Church. We do
this by worshipping (liturgia), witnessing (martyria), serving
(diakonia) and socializing (koinonia) together. We do this by
caring for family, friends and others, by comforting those in need and
encouraging one another toward a strong moral and spiritual life. By striving
for personal sanctification, to make real the image and likeness of God in
our own lives, we seek to make God's Kingdom real in our community.
Our services (Sunday Liturgy) are every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. with Father John (Galenos) Pilafas. Our
Sunday School is for children ages 4-12 and is held every 2nd and
4th Sunday, September through May.
