Statement: Because Lee started the Torch Club in Appleton, at my brother, Ed Buss’ urging, I have watched its beginning, attended meetings as a guest, and choose to be a part of the club because of that relationship and because of the club’s purpose. I understand the purpose to be to give each member opportunity to research a topic of interest, knowing that other members will listen to a presentation of that research with interest and questions, challenging ideas presented, appreciating the work done to make the presentation.
