Dog Licenses

All dogs must be licensed at the age of six months. We must have proof of the rabies vaccination. New licenses are usually available around mid-December, and must be obtained by April 1st. Registration is $5.00 for spayed and neutered dogs and $10.00 for non spayed and neutered dogs. Licenses can be obtained from the Town Office during business hours. Any dog registered after April 1st, will be charged a late fee unless it is a new dog.

Dog tags can be obtained when you pay your taxes, or you can receive them through the mail. You will need to send along a copy of your rabies vaccination and a self addressed stamped envelope. All dogs in the Town of Clayton must be kept in their owners yards at all times. Dogs are required to be on a leash or under voice control when not in their owners yard. If you have a complaint about a dog, please contact the Town Office at (920) 836-2007 or the Animal Control Office at (920) 836-3005.

Operators Licenses

Anyone who serves alcoholic beverages must obtain an operators license. The cost for a license is $60.00. To obtain a license, you must have a valid or current operators license or you must take a safe beverage course offered at the Fox Valley Technical Institute. Operators license must be renewed yearly, the license expires on June 30th of each year. When you apply for a license, we will need to make a copy of your school certificate and your drivers license. The town does do background checks, and the Town Board approves or denies the license so please allow time for the issuance of the operators license.
