| Volunteers Julie Schwaller Ryno Julie Schwaller Ryno is the adoptive mom of two African-American children. She co-founded Umoja along with Dr. Bola Delano in order to fill a need for her children. She is an active member of St. Bernard Parish in Appleton, WI and is the National Sales and Marketing Manager for Diversified Woodcrafts, Inc. in Suring Wisconsin. She resides in Grand Chute, WI with her husband Bill and children, Sarah and Caleb. Bola Delano-Oriaran, Ph.D. Dr. Delano-Oriaran is currently an Assistant Professor of Education in the Teacher Education Department at St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin. She inspired and co-founded the Fox Cities Rotary Multicultural Center in Appleton, WI. Dr. Delano presently serves on the Board of Directors for the Fox Cities Rotary Multicultural Center and Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin. She is the recipient of the Downtown Appleton Rotary Club Charles and Patricia Heeter Award. In 2000, the Wisconsin State Human Relations Association presented her with an Outstanding Human Relations Educator Award. She resides in Appleton with her husband and lifetime friend, Dr. Philips Oriaran. Sabrina W. Robins, Ph.D. Dr. Sabrina Robins is Director of Operations at Manpower, Inc. Dr. Robins is a vendor management services professional that specializes in contingent workforce management. She has direct experience in program management, program evaluation, procurement, consumer research, market analyses, metric development, supplier quality audits. Dr. Robins is well versed in several business process improvement methodologies that effect private and public sector organizations. These varied skills have been applied to educational, corporate and public sector organizations. In addition to her current role, Sabrina Robins is responsible for Supplier Diversity. As a leader for Supplier Diversity within Manpower, Dr. Robins serves as a mentor and helps to identify business opportunities for diversity vendors. Dr. Sabrina Robins earned a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Wayne State University. Dr. Robins’ areas of expertise include: applied statistics, business process improvement, research methods and design. Dr. Robins is married and has a seven year old daughter. Her hobbies include: community service activities, volunteering at her daughter’s school, shopping, and playing scrabble. Dr. Robins is also an adult adoptee and a strong supporter of parents that provide loving homes for children. Amy J. Steuer Amy J. Steuer, BS, CSW is a licensed Social Worker with the State of Wisconsin. She is an employee of Catholic Charities, Inc., Diocese of Madison, working as the Post Adoption Resource Specialist for the Southern Region of Wisconsin. Amy devotes a significant amount of her time towards education and training on adoption issues. She has more than twenty years of experience working in the field of adoption. Ken Wirtz Ken Wirtz is an adoptive parent of three African-American children. He is in charge of updating/maintaining the website. He lives in Neenah, WI with his wife Bridget and children Kayla, Karl, and Marcus. |
