Dear Friends:
An angel appeared to Joseph in a dream, telling him "Do not fear... what is conceived is of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 1:20-21). What dream have you birthed during the joyous Christmas season? What is this possiblity collectively for us at Unity Church of Christianity? DO NOT FEAR! It is conceived of Spirit. It is Spirit flowing through each of you and flowing through us as a church community.
During January, we will be looking at ways to birth new opportunities. Our lessons will include a discussion of the power of decision and the power of living in the now. We will hold our first New Year's Eve Burning Bowl celebration where we can release the old and begin setting our intentions for 2004. On January 18, we will have another first, a White Stone Ceremony where we will refine our intentions using a discernment process. The last Sunday of January we will come together for our Annual Meeting and set our congregational intentions for the year and create our new congregational symbol for 2004.
I affirm our new year will be full of joy, growth, and abundance of all good things.
