Our new church lease includes no immediate rent increase and we can give 90-day notice with our intention to move.
The Fat Tuesday Coffeehouse was a great success as many shared their poetry, stories, music, and art. Unity 101 classes attracted a steady attendance of about 15 with lively discussions. The “Bring a Friend” Sunday and potluck was a fun event for all those who attended. Our Maundy Thursday service was a blessing.
The board agreed to bring Reverend Barbara Howard to our community to facilitate a discernment process on April 18th.
We concluded work on a church survey to be distributed to the congregation in April or early May. The survey will be conducted on an annual basis and provide us with benchmark data to access our organization.
Discussion continued on how to shape our educational initiative and encourage participation by multiple ministries.
We approved payment for a projector that will allow us to project large images during services and classes.
The board will meet on May 23rd to develop a plan for expanding congregational participation in our ministries.
