January 2005
Dear Friends,
Happy New Year! As I write this reflection the year is drawing to an end, and
Cynthia and I feel blessed as we share this wonderful spiritual journey with
you. This has been a grand month of celebrations – our Salvation Army Bell
Ringing, the Christmas potluck, our childrens’ Christmas Service, our special
Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve World Peace Meditation, and our Burning Bowl
Service. Enjoy the photographs that document our recent activities found in this
newsletter.
As the holidays wind down, I invite you to look ahead to 2005. What are the
growing edges for your spiritual journey? Would you like to have more abundance
in your life? Would you like to have a closer relationship with your
indwelling Christ? Would you like to have a deeper understanding of Unity principles?
January is a wonderful time to set new intentions and we are providing some
wonderful opportunities for your spiritual growth.
On January 16th Dr. Michael Mirdad will be presenting a workshop that will
help us understand how to better deal with life’s tests.
On January 23rd Rev. Cynthia Barclay will once again present the Whitestone
Ceremony. During this service you will have the opportunity for Spirit to
reveal an area of focus for your life during the coming year. We conducted this
service for the first time last year and many of you asked that we make this an
annual event.
On February 2nd we will begin a powerful prosperity course called Keys to the
Kingdom.
On January 30th you will not want to miss the Annual Meeting, as we will be
presenting the next steps we will be taking to materialize our next home.
Feedback and input from everyone is important as we move forward in 2005.
As you ponder your intentions for 2005, browse through this newsletter and
note the activities that will nurture your soul and stretch your mind.
The surest way to spiritual growth is service. I invite you to jump in and
learn by participating in one of our ministries. Fellowship, spiritual support,
friendship and growth are the natural results of participation in our Unity
community.
Blessings,
Reverend Morgan
