How To Decide
It's OK to Heal.
Our first Monday evening experience on April 7th with Rev. Barbara Hill had a great gift for me.
Her purpose in that session was to create the circumstances among us to allow Spirit to heal those of us who'd been wounded or distressed by Rev. Morgan's departure. As part of that process, she shared with us what she'd learned about why Rev. Morgan resigned. As the awareness of what happened back in the fall of last year and before went around the group, most of us experienced a new level of understanding and acceptance.
And it may seem a strange thing for the President of your Board of Trustees to say, but in that moment, I got my church back. Unity Church again became my home, and I shared my tears of relief and happiness with the rest of the group.
Spirit needs to work with honesty and truth, shared among many. Jesus said that wherever two or three are gathered, there I AM. Spirit touches and guides each of us individually, but there is truly a special power and grace that comes from being together.
If there are still some of you reading this who have not come to a place of peace with Rev. Morgan's departure, please know that you do not need to travel alone. Talk with April or those of us on the Board. Share your thoughts, and we will share ours, as Spirit does its work.
I don't plan to write about this again. My healing around this is complete, and our church has healed and is moving forward. But Spirit asks me to reach out my hand one last time. If you still have unfinished business around this, please speak your truth so that you can join us or find your own path, as Spirit guides you.
Peace to you.
Love and light,
Albert Bellg
