Wisconsin Earth Adventure

for kids looking for something

to “dig” into this summer

  1. geared towards kids entering grades 3 through 7

  2. age and grade are approximate

  3. experienced and enthusiastic instructors

  4. low student/instructor ratio

  5. fun, hands-on activities

  6. educational edibles

  7. projects to take home

  8. week-long sessions

Session I — Ice, Explosions, Crystals & More

  1. build a glacier & eat it

  2. grow sparkling crystals

  3. create a cave-in-a-cup

  4. erupt an enormous volcano

  5. make your own fossil


Session II — Dinosaurs, Meteorites, Treasures & More

  1. discover details about dinosaurs

  2. identify meteorites & their impact

  3. explore the rocks & minerals we use and eat

  4. invent your own toothpaste

  5. learn about landfills

Sessions may be taken in any order

Thursday night during each session is Family Night

for campers to receive their certificates, share what they’ve learned & enjoy refreshments with their families. 

REGISTRATION

  1. Registration includes all materials, daily snack, family night & certificate

  2. Register by mail, by phone at 920.832.2925, or on-line at www.foxvalleykids.org

  3. Sign up for more than one Earth Adventure session (siblings included) and save 10% on each

  4. Sign up for both an Earth Adventure and a Space Academy session and save 10%

  5. Museum Friends save 20%

  6. Supervision will be provided over lunch (12-1 pm) for campers staying for more than one session
