Town Board Meeting Minutes

  1. Meeting called to order.

Chairman Abe Eckstein called the Town of Winchester town board meeting to order. Present were Abe Eckstein, John Reinert, Doug Joas, Sharon Mathison, Atty. Sorenson, Doug Tate, Lee Zeinert, Todd Boyce and Ben Joas.

 

  1. Approval of meeting minutes January 22, 2007.

The clerk presented the town board meeting minutes of January 22, 2007. Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve the town board meeting minutes of January 22, 2007, seconded by Chairman Eckstein. Motion carried.

 

  1. Financial Status.

Discussion was held.

 

  1. Public Participation: Time for Public to express their opinion on any item or address the Town Board on an issue.

Lee Zeinert came before the town board in regards to property on County Road II that is for sale listed as having horses on 2 ˝ acres. Discussion was held.

 

  1. Old and New Business.
    1. Robin Eckstein and Kari Joas operators’ license.

Discussion was held. Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve the operator licenses for Robin Eckstein and Kari Joas, seconded by Chairman Eckstein. Motion carried.

 

    1. Buskirk Lane, message from Liz Nichols Property lister.

Discussion was held. Liz Nichols recognizes as a town road trying to accomplish without a CSM. Chairman Eckstein made a motion to recognize as a town road, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

 

    1. Meyer Lane.

Discussion was held. Chairman Eckstein made a motion to have Atty. Robert Sorenson contact Kelly Schwab by writing a letter explaining the situation, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

 

    1. County Conditional Use Permit.

A quarry permit is a conditional use. If  doing a quarry permit will need to get hold of East Central for reclamation permit. Chairman Eckstein made a motion to have Atty. Robert Sorenson contact Winnebago County Zoning office for an appeal on Tim Zillges conditional use permit, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

  1. Correspondence.

A thank you from Doug Joas was read.

  1. To approve disbursements.

Chairman Eckstein made a motion to pay the bills, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

  1. Adjourn.

Supervisor Reinert made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.
