Town Board Meeting Minutes

  1. Meeting called to order.

Chairman Abe Eckstein called the Town Board meeting to order. Present were Abe Eckstein, John Reinert, Doug Joas and Sharon Mathison. Residents present were Glenn & Vicki Van Oudenhoven, Tim & Pat Belling, Mike Wohlers and Ben Joas.

  1. Approval of meeting minutes August 20, 2007.

The clerk presented the Town of Winchester meeting minutes of August 20, 2007. Supervisor Joas made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of August 20, 2007, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.

 

  1. Financial Status.

Discussion was held.

 

  1. Public Participation: Time for Public to express their opinion on any item or address the Town Board on an issue.

Tim Behling came before the town board and stated that Gary Konow’s property on Grandview Road, that Gary had about 230 loads of used black top delivered and put next to his pond.

 

  1. Old and New Business.
    1. Snowplowing bids.

Discussion was held. Supervisor Reinert made a motion that Logan do all the plowing that Town of Clayton was doing last year, seconded by Chairman Eckstein. Doug Joas abstained from voting. Motion carried.

 

    1. Wisler pavement rating.

Discussion was held and report was gone over and did the needed changes were done..

 

    1. TRIP.

Discussion was held and Oakridge Road should be applied for.

 

    1. Michael Wohler’s property zoning.

Discussion was held –need more clarification from Mr. Braun. Chairman Eckstein made a motion to respond back to Mr. Braun that we need more clarification, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.

 

    1. Kwik Trip Operator license- Elaine Zitzke.

Discussion was held. Supervisor Joas made a motion to approve Elaine Zitzke, seconded Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.

 

    1. Viking Bartender Licenses, Kalyn Robbert, Kelly Elgersma and Amber Schultz.

Discussion was held. Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve Kalyn Robbert, Kelly Elgersma and Amber Schultz, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

 

    1. Glenn & Vicki Van Oudenhoven CSM tax parcels 028-075001 and 028-074705, 5537 Grandview Rd.

Discussion was held. Chairman Eckstein made a motion to approve the CSM of Glenn & Vicki Van Oudenhoven, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

 

  1. Correspondence.

l.         Letter from Michael Ellis.

2.      Letter from Roger Roth.

3.      Winnebago County ordinance adopted.

 

  1. To approve disbursements.

Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve the bills as read, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

 

  1. Adjourn.

Supervisor Joas made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.
