Town Board Meeting Minutes

  1. Meeting called to order.

Chairman Abe Eckstein called the Town of Winchester town board meeting to order. Present were Abe Eckstein, John Reinert, Doug Joas and Sharon Mathison. Others present were Dean Mathison, Ben Joas, LeRoy Zeinert and Tim Cullen.

 

  1. Approval of meeting minutes September 17, 2007.

The clerk presented the Town of Winchester town board meeting minutes of September 17, 2007. Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve the September 17, 2007 town board meeting minutes, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

 

  1. Financial Status.

Discussion was held. Supervisor Joas made a motion to approve the financial status of the Town of Winchester, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.

 

  1. Old and New Business.
    1. Public Hearing closing Hwy 45 and Grandview Road.

a. Correspondence from Atty. Robert Sorenson.

Discussion was held. Doug Joas stated that there will be between lanes a 450” off lane and he felt that Town of Clayton and residents should be notified.

 

                  2.   Abe Eckstein’s marsh road.

                        a. Correspondence from Atty. Robert Sorenson.

                        Discussion was held. Other residents also have interests in having access

                        to their property in the marsh be accessible.

 

                  3.   Digital Sign.

                        Discussion was held. The digital sign was very impressive and in full

                        color.

 

                  4.   Public Hearing Larsen/Winchester Sanitary District to discuss the    

                        specifics of the implementation and operations of the new system.

                        Discussion was held.

 

5.      Budget 2008.

Discussion was held.

    1. Larsen/Winchester meeting minutes.

a.       Meeting minutes August 1, 2007.

b.      Special work meeting minutes August 27, 2007.

 

  1. To approve disbursements.

Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve the bills as presented, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

 

  1. Adjourn.

Chairman Eckstein made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.
