  1. Meeting called to order.

Chairman Abe Eckstein called the Town of Winchester town board meeting to order. Present were Abe Eckstein, John Reinert and Sharon Mathison. Doug Joas excused. Residents present were Ben Joas, Ken Stroupe and Keith S.

 

  1. Approval of meeting minutes November 19, 2007.

The clerk presented the November 19, 2007 Town of Winchester town board meeting minutes. Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve the November 19, 2007 town board meeting minutes, seconded by Chairman Eckstein. Motion carried.

 

  1. Public participation: Time for Public to express their opinion on any item or address the Town Board on an issue.

Chairman Abe Eckstein read the letter from Roger Roth on Bill LRB-2199/1 and Bill LRB-2863/1 and to have the clerk draft a letter stating that we already have our plan in place and are not in favor of either of the bills and we want to get out of county zoning.

  1. Financial Status.

Discussion was held.

 

  1. Old and New Business.
    1. Bartender license- Ben Fittante.

Discussion was held. Supervisor Joas made a motion to approve the bartender license of Ben Fittante, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.

 

    1. Winnebago County Board of Supervisors sanitary system special assessment.

Discussion was held. Chairman Eckstein made a motion to postpone the special assessment of the sanitary systems, seconded Supervisor Reinert. Roll call ayes- Eckstein and Reinert. Nay- Doug Joas. Motion carried.

 

    1. Christopher Pfaendtner, Saddleback Lane paved Town Board needs to sign off on roadway agreement on CSM.

Discussion was held. CSM states that Saddleback Lane is dedicated to the public. Chairman Eckstein made a motion to sign off on the roadway agreement, seconded by supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

 

    1. Refuse and recycle Special Assessment $95.10.

Discussion was held. Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve refuse and recycle fee to be $95.10, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

 

    1. Closing of Grandview Road at Hwy 45.

Discussion was held. Chairman Eckstein made a motion to delay having a Public hearing on Grandview Road closing, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.

 

  1. To approve disbursements.

Supervisor Joas made a motion to approve the bills as read, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.

 

  1. Adjourn.

Supervisor Joas made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.
