Town Board Meeting Minutes

  1. Meeting called to order.

Chairman Abe Eckstein called the Town of Winchester Town Board meeting to order. Present were Abe Eckstein, John Reinert, Doug Joas and Sharon Mathison. Also present were Ben Joas, Keith S., Steve Luedtke, Rhody Platta, Jerome Eiden, Tom Rosenthal, Chad & Kerry Forrest, Ted and Russ Eckstein, Michael Loehrke and Les Ory.

 

  1. Approval of meeting minutes February 4, 2008.

The clerk presented the Town of Winchester town board meeting minutes. Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve the town meeting minutes of February 4, 2008, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

 

  1. Public participation: Time for Public to express their opinion on any item or address the Town Board on an issue.

Mike Loehrke came before the town board in regards what it would take to allow his son to build on his property north of his subdivision.

 

  1. Old and New Business.
    1. Clayton/Winchester Fire Department an Agreement for Automatic Assistance with Town of Vinland.

Discussion was held. Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve the Clayton/Winchester Fire Department -an Agreement for Automatic Assistance with Town of Vinland, seconded by Chairman Eckstein. Motion carried.

 

    1. Property Owners in Town of Winchester which have problems 

      obtaining access across state lands.

                        Discussion was held. SS893.33 (Easement of Necessity)

 

  1. To approve disbursements.

Supervisor Reinert made a motion to pay bills as read with the exception of the mailbox replacement, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.

 

  1. Adjourn.

Supervisor Reinert made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.
