  1. Meeting called to order.

Chairman Abe Eckstein called the Town of Winchester town board meeting to order. Present were Abe Eckstein, John Reinert, Doug Joas and Sharon Mathison. Also present were Ben Joas, Sue Rubick, Don De Cristofaro and Keith S.

 

  1. Approval of meeting minutes February 18, 2008.

The clerk presented the town board meeting minutes of February 18, 2008. Supervisor Joas made a motion to approve the town board meeting minutes of February 18, 2008, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.

 

  1. Public participation: Time for Public to express their opinion on any item or address the Town Board on an issue.

Sue Rubick- running for County Supervisor.

Don DeCristofaro – replacing U. S. flags, holiday flags and accessories.

Roger Roth – received correspondence.

 

  1. Financial Status.

Discussion was held.

 

  1. Old and New Business.
    1. Bartender license Cara Koshak.

Discussion was held. Chairman Eckstein made a motion to approve the bartender license of Cara Koshak, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

 

    1. Winnebago Archers, Inc.-picnic licenses-3/29-3/30/08, 4/19-4/20/08, 5/3-5/4/08, 6/7-6/8/08, 7/12/7/13/08, 8/2-8/3/08 and 8/16-8/17/08.

Discussion was held. Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve the Winnebago Archers picnic licenses, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

 

    1. Jessica Syring would like to rent the pavilion in June. She would like to have her little girl’s birthday party with two riding horses (Dick Forrest). The rules say that permission is needed from the Town Board.

Discussion was held. Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve bringing in two horses (Dick Forrest’s horses) for Jessica Syring’s daughters birthday party, the town will not be liable for the horse’s actions, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

 

    1. Town of Winchester vs. Winnebago County Board of Adjustments 2/21/08.

Discussion was held. Supervisor Joas made a motion not appeal the decision to not pursue any further and to check periodically that Mr. Zillges is in compliance, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.

Joas and Reinert Aye. Eckstein Nay.

    1. Dead End Roads- Buskirk Lane, Clarks Road, Hofberger Lane, Jones Hill Lane and Pergande Lane- legal descriptions or is a CSM needed ? (Needed information for property lister).

Discussion was held. Chairman Eckstein made a motion to lay over to next meeting, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.

 

  1. To approve disbursements.

Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve the bills as read, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

 

  1. Adjourn.

Supervisor Reinert made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.
