Town Board Meeting Minutes

  1. Meeting called to order.

Chairman Abe Eckstein called the Town of Winchester town board meeting to order. Present were Abe Eckstein, John Reinert, Sharon Mathison and Lona Schroll. Doug Joas absent. Also present were Tim and Brenda Card, Keith Shebilske, Ben Joas and Mark Severson.

 

  1. Approval of meeting minutes – April 7, 2008.

The clerk presented the town board meeting minutes of April 7, 2008. Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve the town board meeting of April 7, 2008, seconded by Chairman Eckstein. Motion carried.

 

  1. Public Participation: Time for Public to express their opinion on any item or address the Town Board on an issue.

Brenda Card came before the board in regards  rezoning of Glenn Johnson property from A-1 to A-2.

 

  1. Old and New Business.
    1. Road Day.

Discussion was held. Mike Siewert from Martenson & Eisele did not show. The Road Day is postponed to the next meeting.

 

    1. Sauby Road speed limit 35mph.

Discussion was held. Postponed to the next meeting in regards to finding out the results of a lighted speed sign.

 

    1. Disaster Assessment workshop.

Discussion was held. Chairman Eckstein made a motion to approve Robert Breaker as our emergency management representative, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.

 

  1. To approve disbursements.

Chairman Eckstein made a motion to pay the bills as read, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.

 

  1. Adjourn.

Supervisor Reinert made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Chairman Eckstein. Motion carried.
