  1. Meeting called to order.

Chairman Abe Eckstein called the Town of Winchester Town Board meeting to order. Present were Abe Eckstein, John Reinert and Sharon Mathison.

  1. Supervisor applicant interviews.

Supervisor applicants were interviewed.

  1. Adjourn.

Chairman Eckstein made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.

Town Board Meeting Minutes

  1. Meeting called to order.

Chairman Abe Eckstein, John Reinert and Sharon Mathison were present. Also present were Ken Stroupe, Keith Shebilske, Mark Severson, LeRoy Zeinert, Ben Joas, Sonny Borchert and Dean Mathison.

 

  1. Approval of meeting minutes July 24, 2008.

The clerk presented the Town of Winchester town board meeting minutes of July 24, 2008. Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve the town board meeting minutes of July 24, 2008, seconded by Chairman Eckstein. Motion carried.

 

  1. Financial Status.

Discussion was held.

 

  1. Public participation: Time for Public to express their opinion on any item or address the Town Board on an issue.
    1. Le Roy Zeinert asked about snow plowing in the subdivision that Logan did not do a good job.

 

  1. Old and New Business
    1. Atty. Robert Sorenson.

a.       Parking on Dale Road- letter sent to Scott Koehnke.

Discussion was held.

 

b.      Access to landlocked land- letter sent to Atty. Renville.

Discussion was held.

 

    1. Bartender licenses- Ben Fittante and Faith Thomack.

Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve Ben Fittante and Faith Thomack, seconded by Chairman Eckstein. Motion carried.

 

    1. Mike Siewert- slurry seal.

Did not attend.

 

    1. Appoint Supervisor.

Supervisor Reinert made a motion to appoint Ben Joas as the new supervisor, seconded by Sharon Mathison. Motion carried.

 

    1. Doug Joas compensation.

Discussion was held. Compensation will be paid.

 

  1. To approve disbursements.

Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve the bills as read, seconded by Chairman Eckstein. Motion carried.

 

  1. Adjourn.

Supervisor Reinert made a motion to adjourn, Seconded by Chairman Eckstein. Motion carried.
