Town Board Meeting Minutes

  1. Meeting called to order.

Chairman Abe Eckstein, John Reinert, Ben Joas and Sharon Mathison. Also present were Dave DeKeyser and Jason & Donna Bellis.

 

  1. Approval of meeting minutes August 4, 2008.

The clerk presented the Town of Winchester Town Board meeting minutes of August 4, 2008. Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve the Town Board meeting minutes of August 4, 2008, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

 

  1. Old and New Business

 

    1. Mike Siewert- slurry seal bid.

Discussion was held that bids will be opened August 29, 2008.

 

    1. Dave De Keyser --hire as a maintenance man.

Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve to hire Dave DeKeyser on a part time basis and designated by the town board, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

 

    1. Jason Bellis-SW of 9116 Bison Road, present zoning A-1 to A-2. Applicant is requesting a Zoning Change to A-2 (General Farming) in order to construct a new home on a parcel less than 35 acres.

Supervisor Reinert made a motion to except the recommendation of the Plan Commission and change the zoning from A-1 to A-2:

With findings:

1.      Have adopted Plan

2.      Fits our Plan

3.      Coincides with the Plan in the area

4.      Five acre parcel

 seconded by Supervisor Joas., Motion carried.

 

    1. Chad and Tania Meyer, north of 8921 North Loop Road, CSM tax parcel 028-0344.

Supervisor Joas made a motion to approve the CSM, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.

 

    1. Tabitha Guyette, bartender license.

Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve Tabitha Guyette bartender license, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

 

  1. Correspondence.

1.      Larsen/Winchester Sanitary meeting minutes July 2, 2008.

 

  1. To approve disbursements.

Supervisor Joas made a motion to approve the bills as read, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.

 

  1. Adjourn.

Supervisor Reinert made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.
