  1. Meeting called to order.

Chairman Abe Eckstein called the Town of Winchester town board meeting to order. Present were Abe Eckstein, John Reinert, Ben Joas and Sharon Mathison. Also present were Keith Shebilske, Dave DeKeyser and Deputy Sheriff Darren Putzer.

  1. Approval of meeting minutes September 22, 2008.

The clerk presented the town board meeting minutes of September 22, 2008. Supervisor Joas made a motion to approve the town board meeting minutes of September 22, 2008, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.

 

  1. Financial Status.

Discussed.

 

  1. Public participation: Time for Public to express their opinion on any item or address the Town Board on an issue.

Fire Chief Dean Mathison discussed the proposed 2009 Clayton/Winchester Fire Budget.

 

  1. Old and New Business

 

    1. Snow plowing bids.

Supervisor Joas made a motion to approve Logan Co. to do subject to the contract addendum with the prices, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.

 

    1. Winnebago County Sheriff Joint Powers Agreement.

Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve the Winnebago County Sheriff Joint Powers Agreement, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

 

    1. Park Pavilion Guidelines.

Supervisor Joas made a motion to approve the park pavilion guidelines, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.

 

    1. Action Appraisers 2009 contract.

Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve the Action Appraisers 2009 contract $9,200, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

 

  1. To approve disbursements.

Supervisor Joas made a motion to approve the bills as read, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.

 

  1. Adjourn.

Supervisor Reinert made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.
