Town Board Meeting Minutes

  1. Meeting called to order.

Chairman Abe Eckstein called the Town of Winchester town board meeting to order. Present were Abe Eckstein, John Reinert, Ben Joas and Sharon Mathison. Also present was Dean Mathison.

 

  1. Approval of meeting minutes November 17, 2008.

The clerk presented the town board meeting minutes of November 17, 2008. Supervisor Joas made a motion to approve the November 17, 2008 town board meeting minutes, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.

 

  1. Financial Status.

Sharon Mathison, clerk explained the financial status of the town.

 

  1. Public participation: Time for Public to express their opinion on any item or address the Town Board on an issue.

1.      A resident on Sauby Road sent an email in regards to persons riding horses double breasted on Sauby Road. The town has no ordinance in regards to this situation.

 

2.      Supervisor Joas has been checking on an air exhaust system for the fire station, he is checking with Hastings Air Energy Control of New Berlin, Wisconsin.

 

  1. Old and New Business
    1. Plan Commission appointment –Kari Huebner.

Supervisor Joas contacted Kari Huebner in regards to being on the Plan Commission. She was to contact a town board member before December 1, 2008 to let them know what she has decided. The term has already expired, with no reply the town board will be looking for another person with the interest of being a Plan Commission member.

 

    1. Letter to Attorney Joseph Renville from Atty. Robert Sorenson.

The letter to Attorney Joseph Renville from Atty. Robert Sorenson was gone over.

 

    1. Heidi Hanneman- bartender license-Antler’s.

Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve Heidi Hanneman bartender license for Antler’s, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

 

  1. To approve disbursements.

Supervisor Reinert made a motion to approve the bills as read, seconded by Supervisor Joas. Motion carried.

 

  1. Adjourn.

Supervisor Joas made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Supervisor Reinert. Motion carried.
