Town Board and Plan Commission Meeting Minutes

February 9, 2010

6:30PM

1. Call meeting to order and roll call.

Matt Olson called the meeting to order at 6:35PM. Present were Rose Gauthier, Neil Kibler, Matt Olson, Randy Strohmeyer, Larry Kriescher and Sharon Mathison. Absent were Ken Stroupe and John Reinert. Also present were Paul Timm, Joe Olson, Rick Voskamp, Ben Joas, Abe Eckstein, Steve and Rosemary Olson, Mike and Jess Nehmer, Cary Rose, Jerry Bougie, Eric Gorshe, Tim Zillges.

2. Approve meeting minutes of January 12, 2010.

Larry Kriescher made the motion to approve meeting minutes of January 12, 2010. Rose Gauthier seconded motion. Motion carried.

3. Public Participation: Time for Public to express their opinion on any item or address to the Plan Commission and Town Board-none.

4. Information on what County has so far on rewrite of county zoning.

Cary Rowe and Jerry Bougie, Winnebago County Zoning, explained where County is in their rewrite.

5. Michael Poole and Duane Howard Conditional Use Permit tax parcels 028-0137, 028-137-02 and 028-0138 at 9351 Maple Ln and 9420 Manu Rd. Applicant is requesting a Conditional Use Permit to extract sand and gravel for use as general fill. George Dearborn’s response.

Tabled to next meeting. Further information is requested, operation plan and nearby wells monitored.

6. Donald Gorshe, CSM, tax parcels 028-0549 and 028-0550 8690 County Road MM.

Randy Strohmeyer made the motion to recommend to the town board to approve Donald Gorshe, CSM, tax parcels 028-0549 and 028-0550, 8690 County Rd II. Neil Kibler seconded motion. Motion carried.

7. Wisconsin Dept. of Transportation, CSM, next to County Highway salt shed, Hansen Road, 028-0660-01, 028-0660-03, 028-0660-02 and 028-0660-05.

Larry Kriescher made the motion to recommend to the town board to approve Wis. Dept. Transportation, CSM, tax parcels 00258-0660-01, 028-0660-03 and 028-06690-02, 028-0660-05, Hansen Road. Seconded by Rose Gauthier. Motion passed.

8. Letter from Martenson & Eisele in regards to the new conversion fee that will affect rezoning- Warren Utecht will be attending.

Warren Utecht explained new conversion fee that will affect rezoning in Farmland Zone District.

9. Town input- Future County Participation in the Farmland Preservation Zoning Program.

Tabled.

10. George Dearborn- new zoning ordinance and unworkable plots of land.

11. Set next date, time and agenda.

Next meeting will be March 9, 2010- 6:30PM
